My Grand Parents used to say Donating for Beggars will give you some Punya karma.Is that true?A question raised in my Mind Whether we have to donate for Beggars or Not?.
I came across an Incident with a beggar. I would like to share it here so that Everybody can think once Before Donating for a beggar.
I was having my Breakfast in a hotel. There was one beggar(Only One) standing and asking for Food to people Who come to that hotel. Since he was not asking for Money like any other beggar(Better Begging) People are ready to buy food in that hotel and give for him. Once they Enter the hotel asking for some parcel for that Beggar, the hotel Owner shouts at the Beggar and insist People Not to donate food for Him. Few People are Staring at the owner for his attitude towards a poor soul( Beggar).'n' number of Questions came to my Mind after seeing that incident. People will pay for Food they are going to donate for the beggar. There is absolutely no loss for Hotel Owner. Keeping this in mind i went to hotel Owner to ask for a reason behind his Statement. He gave me a big reason which made me think a lot.
Owner Told me, We can donate to poor who are not able to fetch money By some way. Beggar standing Outside is begging because he has no Willingess to Work. Hotel Owner have offered a cleaner job in his hotel with a salary of 2500/ with daily food and accomodation. That was a busy Hotel in Main Road. The Begger have replied "Why Should i work if i can get my tummy full without doing any work?
Only One question was running in my mind after listening to owner's statement.Will you donate a beggar for No reason as he/she is begging?

This show is fully based on luck to win an amount of 50,00000. As shown in the Image 26 Boxes will be there, it contains 26 different amount starting from 1 rupee to 50,00000. Participant have to choose one box for them, they will open the remaining 25 Boxes to know the amount in his/her box(Silly!!) . Person hosting the show will make the participant to Make a deal with an amount to quit from game with this amount. Participants will expose their emotions (crying!!) how badly they need that money!!! One day i watched the Show, as usual the Participant was crying Saying"Oru car vanga mudiyalayae!!!"(not able to buy a car!!). There are so many people who suffers for Food itself!!! She was crying So badly for not having a car!! Most Important part of it,Once she started Crying Sad Background Music as if she lost her Husband!!! I am not a person who hate Game shows.. I love watching them.. Advertising the Show with tears of people is not fair. The worst part of it is, the show is telecasted in all the languages with different host!!! There is also a 27th box, its for viewers who watch this show.. They have to find the amount in 27th Box with four options for them like 5,5,500,5000. They will never open the box in the show. If you want to know the amount in 27th box they have to buy next day's XYZ newspaper. I have seen different ways of motivating People to read a newspaper.. This show is motivating people in a different way such that they get profit out of it!!! The aim of the show is not giving 50,00000 to one person rather gaining more than that in every show!!! I stopped watching the show.. Media can make us mad very easily!!!
